On 26th February, investigators recognized a skull, several ribs, and hair, believed to be Choi’s remains, in a large stainless steel soup pot. Other body parts, including Choi’s torso and hands, remain missing, according to CNN.

“There’s a hole on the right side rear on the skull, so the pathologist believes that that should be the fatal attack on the victim,” police superintendent Alan Chung said.

The house in which Abby’s remains were found is said to be rented by Kwong Kau, Abby’s ex-husband Alex Kwong’s father.

The model’s ex-husband Alex Kwong was arrested and charged with murder over the weekend in Hong Kong.

Alex’s father Kwong Kau, and brother Anthony Kwong have also been charged with Abby’s murder while Alex’s mother Jenny Li, is currently facing “one count of perverting the course of justice,” according to the Associated Press

Alan Chung said that more than 100 investigators are digging on a landfill site to find the missing remains of Abby’s body or clothing or any other piece of evidence, “We believe the suspects on the morning of  February 22 had thrown away a few bags of important evidence, which could possibly be human remains, the victim’s clothing, phones, and even the murder weapon.”

According to AP, on 26th February, police also arrested another woman believed to have been in an affair with the ex-husband’s father for allegedly assisting the other suspects. Chung said the woman had rented the house together with the father, as well as another place to hide the ex-husband.

The 28-year-old influencer’s family and friends gathered to pay their final respects at the scene where police say they found what are believed to be the socialite’s dismembered body parts, public broadcaster RTHK reported.

Choi’s mother and her widower Chris Tam lit incense and brought Taoist paper offerings used in traditional funeral rites outside the village house in the city’s northern outskirts, RTHK said.

The police are still investigating the case but no new evidence has come to light as of now.
