According to Gia Giudice of “Rhonj,” Joe and Melissa Gorga Have “Completely Burned the Bridge” and Their Relationship Is “over”

Teresa Giudice’s four daughters became upset that people kept bringing up their father Joe Gorga’s name and conspicuous absence on what was intended to be a joyful and stress-free wedding day. Joe and Melissa Gorga won’t be returning, according to Gia Giudice.

Teresa Giudice, 22, claimed on The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Tuesday that her mother had been “stressed” about her brother Joe’s absence from the wedding. The episode followed Teresa Giudice and Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ wedding day.

Gia revealed that on her happy wedding day, “the only thing that’s stressed her out is my uncle.” The Rutgers University alum admitted in a confessional that she was just like, “Wow,” when she learned that he wasn’t coming. “At this point, it seems obvious that you actually burned the bridge entirely. For everyone, including my sisters and I, it’s over.

Fans of RHONJ are aware that Teresa, 51, and Joe, 43, have struggled to maintain their marriage over the course of their 11 years on the Bravo program. When Joe and Melissa skipped Teresa’s summer wedding, things reached a breaking point.

When false reports about Melissa and Joe’s marriage surfaced during filming, two sources informed PEOPLE at the time that the couple withdrew their attendance two days prior to the ceremony. The Gorgas’ decision was eventually impacted by Teresa and Louie’s conduct at the time.

One insider claimed, “Teresa betrayed them in a way that is unforgivable.” When all Teresa does is try to break up their marriage, they won’t celebrate her new union.

Last week’s program featured the incident, but Teresa has denied any wrongdoing and even told Bravo cameras, “This is what Melissa’s been trying to do for over 10 years. She has continuously wished to separate my brother from me. She received her wish.

Gia has also expressed her concerns about the division of the family, accusing Joe and Melissa of attempting to “drive a wedge” between her and her cousins Antonia, Joey, and Gino Gorga, and remarking that her uncle “could do better” after allegations of Melissa’s adultery arose in last week’s episode.

In another scene from the wedding special, Teresa’s daughters started crying when Jennifer Aydin, her RHONJ co-star, brought up Joe after grabbing her during hair and makeup to give her a gift before the wedding.

After informing Danielle Cabral of the allegation that Melissa had reportedly cheated, Jennifer apologized for unintentionally contributing to Joe’s absence and gave the reality star a brooch bearing a portrait of her late parents.

“Really? After overhearing the pair’s conversation, Gabriella Giudice remarked, “She better not is talking about my uncle right now. That is just awful.

“I think it’s unfair to my mom that people keep bringing up my uncle’s name,” the 19-year-old said in a joint confessional with her older sister.

I’m concerned that Jennifer will upset my mother, Gia said. People should be advised that discussing him is inappropriate because it is a delicate subject and he infuriates us all so much.

Gabriella started crying after Joe’s mention. She screamed, “I don’t want to hear his name,” as Teresa left her chat to console her daughter. The Bravo star and her ex-husband Joe Giudice share two other daughters, Milania, 17, and Audriana, 13, in addition to Gia and Gabriella.

Teresa said in the show on Tuesday that since Joe departed, her daughters had become overly protective of her. “Like, we’ve had each other exclusively. They just want me to be happy because of everything we’ve been through. Given what my brother has done over the last ten years, they didn’t want my brother to be referenced at all. It’s been a long trip, especially the last few months.

The 13th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is now available to stream in its entirety on Peacock. Beginning next Tuesday, May 30 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, the three-part reunion will begin.
