Bling Empire, Netflix’s glittering reality program, is returning for a second season with a new cast.

Christine Chiu, Kevin Kreider, Kelly Mi Li, Kim Lee, Kane Lim, and Gabriel Chiu star in the show, which started in January 2021 and chronicles the lives of LA’s Asian socialites as they navigate parties, drama, and beauty.

Season 2 of Bling Empire will premiere on May 13 and will consist of eight 40-minute episodes that promise “even more luxury, elegance, and craziness” (via TheWrap).

The second season’s plot was revealed in a Netflix press release. “This season, a romance between Kevin and Kim develops, Cherie and Jessey’s relationship is called into doubt, and as Kane and Kevin’s best bud friendship is put to the test, Beverly Hills’ rivaling queens, Christine and Anna, put a fresh spin on the art of social warfare,” according to Netflix.

We already know it’ll be an entertaining season, and we can’t wait to watch how it all plays out.

We’d all like to stay on this adventure with them for as long as viewers are interested.” While fans are excited to see more of “HBIC” Anna Shay, her antagonist Christine Chiu, Cherry Chan, Kane Lim, Jaime Xie, Kim Lee, and the rest of the cast, there have been reports that not all of Season 1’s stars will return for Season 2.

Even Jackie Chan and Jessey Lee had already shot material for future episodes, EW revealed in August 2021 that they will not be returning for Season 2. The couple, who were engaged on the Season 1 finale after Chan proposed to Lee, had “chosen to move on to focus on their family, business, and other ventures,” according to TMZ.

There have also been rumors that former Rich Kids of Beverly Hills cast member Dorothy Wang has been filming for Bling Empire Season 2, while Page Six claimed in January 2022 that Chinese millionaire Stephen Hung had been observed filming something in New York City, which might be Bling Empire.
