After being off Twitter for ten days, Elon Musk uploaded a picture of four of his sons and said he was “proud” to have met Pope Francis.
Elon Musk has returned to Twitter.
The 51-year-old Tesla CEO last posted a tweet on the social media site on June 21. On Friday, he reappeared and posted, “Feeling… perhaps… a little bored?”
Elon Musk then posted a photo of himself and his sons, including Griffin and the triplets Kai, Damian, and Sax, whose mother was his first wife, Justine Wilson, posing next to Pope Francis in a subsequent tweet.
Along with the image, Musk added, “Honored to meet @Pontifex yesterday.” The image showed each Musk man standing next to the Pope while dressed in suits.
Musk later tweeted a photo of himself and his ex-wife Talulah Riley traveling in Italy.
He captioned the photo, which shows him and Riley, 36, posing in black and white clothing with face masks covering their eyes, “Venice, a location of Great Remembrance.”
Musk also posted a homage to the YouTube gamer Technoblade, who passed away from cancer last week at the age of 23, on Twitter on Friday.
Along with a quote from the video game character Sonic the Hedgehog, he wrote, “Popular Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade with 12 Billion subscribers recently passed away at the age of 23 due to cancer, and this made [me] realize that cancer is [an] absurd piece of literal garbage and death, but also try to live your best life with people who know.”
Musk continued, “You would regret not doing stuff with them if they died the next day.”
The Wall Street Journal noted that Musk’s most recent 10-day absence from Twitter was the longest he had endured since October 2017.
Since January 2018, the SpaceX CEO had never missed more than six days of tweeting, according to the source.
However, Musk, who is reportedly considering a billion-dollar offer to buy Twitter, has reportedly taken shorter, day-long absences from the platform, including one in January.
