Who is Brie Larson?

Brie Larson is an American actress, director, and singer who first gained attention in the early 2000s for her roles in various television shows and indie films. She was born on October 1, 1989, in Sacramento, California.

In 2019, Larson joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the superhero Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, appearing in her own standalone film as well as in several other Marvel movies. She has also directed several films, including the coming-of-age comedy “Unicorn Store” (2017).

In addition to her acting and directing work, she briefly dabbled with a music career, releasing the album Finally Out of P.E. She is known for her activism and advocacy work, particularly around issues related to gender and racial equality.

Elijah Allan-Blitz is an American filmmaker, director, and producer. He was born on February 18, 1987, in Santa Barbara, California. He is known for his direction of the Emmy-nominated virtual reality experience “Take Every Wave: Laird in VR”, which won a Lumiere Award.

Allan-Blitz is one of the first virtual reality directors for Time magazine and an Emmy nominee and Lumiere Award winner.

Brie And Elijah Call It Quits!

Reportedly, Brie and Elijah have separated and gone their different ways. 

In her most recent interview with Harpers Bazaar for the magazine’s April edition, the Captain Marvel star confirmed her split from the virtual reality director, noting that she’s staying receptive to whatever comes next.

“I don’t have a next job. I don’t have a home. I don’t have a partner. I don’t have a plan,” she told the magazine in the piece published on March 23. “I’m just completely open.”

Brie Larson and Elijah Allan-Blitz were in a romantic relationship for a few years. The couple first sparked romance rumors in 2019 when Brie Larson was spotted kissing Elijah Allan-Blitz 6 months after breaking off her engagement with actor and musician Alex Greenwald.

Despite neither of them at the time openly discussing their relationship, the pair walked the red carpet together at the 2020 Oscar.

In the same year, the couple collaborated in the series “The Messy Truth VR Experience”, which earned them an Emmy for Outstanding Original Interactive Program.

Over the course of the following three years of their relationship, the actor and the filmmaker have shared several snippets of their romance on social media and at red-carpet events.

“Get yourself a guy who will fly across the globe to hold your hand while you live your dream,” she wrote in a July 2022 Instagram post. “I cherish you @elijah_a.b.”

In August 2022, updating about their work-life balance, Larson posted a picture of the two photographed together captioning it, “Working working working but keeping it cute.”

The last time the couple was spotted together was at Disney’s D23 expo back in September 2022, when they were promoting their short film “Remembering.”

In her interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Brie avoided discussing the specifics of her breakup with Allan-Blitz but elaborated on how her outlook on the future started to change as she entered her thirties. 

“I had all the same normal fears as everybody else about being single and being 30,” shared Larson. “What do I want? How do a family and a future fit in with my weird life?”
