Many instances of privacy invasion are witnessed by celebs. Recently, Britney Spears requested her fans to respect her privacy amidst a police check at her home after a prank phone call was made on her name by her fans.
According to the official statement given by the spokesperson of the Ventura County Sheriff given in an interview, the officers and deputies of the office received phone calls in which a disturbance was reported at Britney’s house. The calls were received approximately at 11 pm on 24th January 2023.
This happened after Britney Spears had deleted her Instagram account and fans were worried about the singer.
The spokesperson commented: “Out of an abundance of caution, we responded to her home for a check on her well-being and determined she was safe and in no danger.”
After the police came to her place, Britney Spears demanded privacy from her fans saying that the prank phone calls had initiated a police check at her house. She was seen speaking about this in her tweet.
According to her tweet, “I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded.”
While talking about the invasion by police, Britney specified about the moral behavior of the police and how the officers were extremely cooperative. She said that the officers never entered her house and they were quick to identify that the phone calls were nothing more than a prank and her house was indeed peaceful at the time and no nuisance was observed. Following this, the police left immediately and did not disturb the singer at all.

Although the matter was taken under control and things are alright for now, Spears is a little disappointed and has shared that she felt “gaslit and bullied” by the media as she is always portrayed in a poor and unfair manner.
She wrote in her tweet:
“During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward,”
After her conservatorship ended, Princess Pop speaks about how frustrated she was with the limitations she faced on Instagram. She also uses the platform to air grievances with her family members. She has been seen deleting her Instagram account frequently but re-activating it again. Although her Instagram is on and off again, she remains active on Twitter.

The singer has a lot of love and respect for the fans even though some times are hard. “In the past, there has been a lot of stuff going on so I understand where [some fans are] coming from,” he said. “They’re just being protective. If anything they’re being good fans,” Britney said.
