The model/actress/It girl had tweeted the day before about sexual assault and paedophilia allegations levelled against musician R Kelly, stating she was “shocked and appalled” after viewing the Surviving R Kelly documentary.

“Stop separating art from the artist,” said Delevingne at the end of a lengthy caption.

“Just because he sings like an angel doesn’t mean he really is.

“I lose followers every time I express something true, something I truly believe, something some could consider controversial, anything that makes people think and ask questions,” she stated.

“The people who support the ideas and actions of others who are heading backwards rather than advance are the followers I lose.” I intend to be more confrontational in 2019. “Confrontation is not the same as violence,” she added.
