Being voted CMT’s Breakout Artist of the Year for 2018 is an incredible honour. For all the years of love and support, I am eternally grateful to my @cmt family. It makes the present much more special, and I can’t wait till the 14th of October to celebrate! Please tune in tonight on CMT at 9/8c for #CMTAOTY.
Both “Things A Man Oughta Know” and “Never Say Never” by Wilson and Cole Swindell peaked at No. 1. Additionally, on October 28th, she will release her new album titled Bell Bottom Country. Wilson continued, “It’s been quite a rollercoaster over the past 12 months.
The fact that my team and I have been given this honour confirms that our years of hard effort have not been in vain.
CMT is like a second family to me, and I can’t say enough good things about how much they care about the success of the musicians they feature.
Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, and Walker Hayes will perform at the 2022 CMT Artists of the Year special airing live from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center; Alan Jackson will be honoured as the event’s “Artist of a Lifetime.”
