The seventh season of Grantchester has begun!

Set in 1959, six new episodes of ITV’s iconic crime series based on James Runcie’s novels will air on the network.

Robson Green (Soldier Soldier) and Tom Brittney (Outlander) reprise their roles as Will Davenport and Geordie Keating, respectively.

Cathy Keating (Kacey Ainsworth), Leonard Finch (Al Weaver), Oliver Dimsdale (Daniel Marlowe), Jack Chapman (Nick Brimble), Miss Scott (Melissa Johns), and Larry Peters (Bradley Hall) round out the cast.

While the Reverend Will Davenport performs holy nuptials, Detective Inspector Geordie Keating is hard at work looking into a number of murders that have occurred in the neighborhood.

Many people, including Will, are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the swinging sixties, but there are still crimes to solve and decisions to be made that could change Grantchester for the better or for the worst.

In the United States, viewers may look forward to the premiere of Season 7 on PBS later this year.
