Howard Stern has a Net Worth of $650 Million as a radio and television star in the United States. From 1986 until 2005, he was most known for his radio show “The Howard Stern Show,” which was nationally syndicated on terrestrial radio. On December 16, 2005, Howard left “regular” radio.
He went on to strike a $500 million five-year deal with Sirius Satellite Radio. On January 9, 2006, his Sirius show premiered. Howard has subsequently amassed a fortune of well over $1 billion at Sirius, in addition to the hundreds of millions, he earned on normal radio.
Howard signed a 5-year deal with Sirius on December 9, 2020, apparently for $120 million per year, or $600 million in total.
When you hear Howard “earn” $120 million a year, keep in mind that the money from these contracts is utilized by Stern to fund all show production costs, including the salaries of celebrities such as Robin Quivers and Gary Dell-Abate. Robin and Gary are estimated to earn $10 million and $4 million each year, respectively. That’s worth $14 million on its own.
Howard would be left with roughly $90 million before taxes and agent fees if you conservatively predict $10-15 million in additional charges. Agents normally take 10% of the sale price, bringing the total to about $80 million. Taxes would remove another half of Howard’s net income, leaving him with a yearly net income of $40 million.
