To let her followers know about some exciting news, Denise Van Outen has taken to Instagram.

Joel Dommett is hosting The Masked Singer’s live tour and the 47-year-old has confirmed that she is participating as a judge.

On Twitter, Denise explained to her followers: “I am so pleased to be travelling out on tour as a judge, and to be in such fantastic company with @AstonMerrygold! 🙂 For those of you who can’t wait to find out who’s behind the mask in each location, you can book now at TheMaskedSingerLiveUK.com #MaskedSingerUKLive #Arenas.”

Denise is no stranger to the ITV series, of course. Unmasked as Fox after a fifth-place result behind Katherine Jenkins, CeeLo Green, Jason Manford and Nicola Roberts in the first season of the singing competition in 2020.

On Steph’s Packed Lunch this week, Denise admitted that she had once fooled former Formula One driver Eddie Irvine into believing that they were going out on a date with each other.

Denise ended her engagement to Eddie Boxshall last month, making the “tough decision” to do so.

Their 11-year-old daughter Betsy, whom Denise has with her ex-husband Lee Mead, had joined them in Essex, where they had lived since their divorce. Jordan, 25, and Leah, 22, are Eddie’s two children from a previous relationship.

A statement posted on Instagram by the star stated: “Over the past few of months, there has been much conjecture over my connection with Eddie. I am happy to clarify that this is not the case. We are no longer a couple, and it hurts me to admit that to you.

“It was a difficult choice for me to end our romance. I will cherish the experiences we had and the memories we made forever.”

HELLO! contacted to Denise’s spokesman, who said, “Denise is obviously upset with the news, but she stays optimistic for the future. Taking care of her baby comes first, and she plans to continue working on the many exciting projects she has planned for this year.
