The age of Harajuku B—- was 23. The 42-year-old reality personality announced the news on Instagram on Monday alongside a carousel of images of Harajuku and her other canines.

“Today, my heart breaks as I say goodbye to my precious chihuahua,” the caption’s opening line read. She gave my life so much love, loyalty, and unique moments for an amazing 23 years.

She was much more than simply a pet, according to Hilton. She was a devoted friend who stood by my side through all of life’s ups and downs; to me, she was like family.

Hilton stated, “She was always there, a tiny ball of love, lighting even the darkest of days, from the flash and glamour to the lonely times behind the scenes. We exchanged a lot of laughs, tears, and memories.

The businesswoman thanked Harajuku for being her “sweet darling” as she thanked her followers for their support. Thank you for bringing your unwavering love into my life. You will always be my little darling, always be missed, always be adored. Even though you’re no longer here physically, your influence on my life will always be felt.

She ended by saying, “Rest gently, sweet friend, knowing that you will be loved and missed always.” Over the course of her years in the spotlight, the Cooking with Paris actress has developed a love affair with dogs. She talked about her 17 pets, which included a small pig, pony, cats, dogs, and rabbits, on Good Morning America in 2011.

As “mini-fashionistas,” Hilton’s puppies loved living in their opulent doghouse, she told PEOPLE in 2009. Their “mini-doggie mansion” had a downstairs living room, a bedroom, and a closet fashioned to replicate the star’s house. She remarked at the time, “They enjoy running up and down the stairs and relaxing on their balcony.

In 2015, Hilton also said farewell to Tinkerbell, the chihuahua that appeared in The Simple Life as an actor. Tinkerbell passed away when she was 14 years old.

She wrote, “My heart is broken,” and used a red broken heart emoji. “I am so depressed and sad.” Tinkerbell received a special message from Hilton at the end of the Instagram eulogy, in which she promised that she “will never be forgotten.”

She wrote, “I will miss her and think about her for the rest of my life. “I love you, Tinky.”
