Olivia Wilde compared filmmaking is compared to coming out of the closet by the LGBTQ community.
Oscar-winning director and producer Oscar Wilde has agreed to helm and produce a secret MCU film on a female MCU character.
In one of her most recent interviews, actress Olivia Wilde compared directing a picture to coming out of the closet for the first time for her.
A female character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be the focus of Wilde’s upcoming film, according to rumors.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that Spider-Woman will play a major role in the film, but this has yet to be confirmed officially.
During an interview with Sam Jones, Wilde commented, “I almost feel like someone who’s just come out of a dark place.”
no because olivia wilde literally comparing ‘coming out’ with fucking changing her profession from acting to directing is sick.
i know she has been there and done stuffs for the lgbtq+ community, but this is simply so messed up. pic.twitter.com/10ixh9gtr3— i- HS3 TRACK 11 (ia only) (@lourryshabit) May 10, 2021
it’s simply funny that Olivia Wilde feels like directing is like coming out of the closet, miss girl do you have something else to share with the class?

I am not an Olivia Wilde fan and honestly couldn’t pick her out of a lineup, but I’m shocked at how much hate she’s getting because she said becoming a directing felt like coming out? It’s hardly a great analogy but I’m struggling to see the homophobia.
