Rebecca Jones was a Mexican actress known for her work in film, television, and theater. She was born on May 21, 1957, in Mexico City, Mexico.
Jones began her acting career in the mid-1980s and had since become one of the most respected and talented actresses in Mexico. She had appeared in numerous telenovelas, including “El amor nunca muere,” “Angélica,” and “La vida en el espejo.” She also appeared in several films, including “Divina Confusión,” “El Tigre de Santa Julia,” and “El Patrullero.”
In addition to her work in film and television, Jones had also performed in theater productions, including “El misterio del Trinidad” and “La Cama.” She won several awards for her work, including both the Best Actress award, and the Best Lead Actress award at the TVyNovelas Awards for her performance in the film “Imperio de Cristal.”

Rebecca Jones Cause of Death
In 2017, it has been stated that the well-known antagonist of several telenovelas, Rebecca Jones was diagnosed with ovarian cancer which she battled with for almost 2 years. She successfully underwent surgery and chemotherapy but still, her health kept on deteriorating.
According to the reports, actress Rebecca was hospitalized for the past few months because her health had declined so much.
On 6th March, she posted a carousel of images and videos to Instagram to celebrate the release of her new movie, “Nothing to See.” She detailed her health situation and stated that she was unable to attend the movie premiere because of it.

Her public relations company has issued a brief statement as admirers mourn the passing of a beloved celebrity saying, “[Jones passed away] in peace and with deep gratitude to her audience. With deep sadness, we want to report the passing of our beloved and admired Rebecca Jones.”
