The Plot: No Way Home Blu Ray
The Department of Damage Control interrogates Peter Parker, his girlfriend MJ, best friend Ned Leeds, and his aunt May after Quentin Beck frames him for murder and reveals his identity as Spider-Man.
The charges against Parker have dropped thanks to the efforts of Matt Murdock, but the organization continues to be dogged by bad publicity. It’s Parker’s turn to seek help from Stephen Strange in the New York Sanctum after his MIT applications are turned down.
For the sake of his loved ones, Spider-identity Man has been tainted by Strange’s spell to make everyone forget that he is Spider-Man. Parker is forced to leave because Strange has the spell to stop it.
Parker is attacked by Otto Octavius as he tries to persuade an MIT official to look into MJ and Ned’s applications. Parker is beaten severely. Octavius deactivates Octavius’ mechanical tentacles by removing Parker’s nanotechnology from his Iron Spider suit. Curt and Octavius are put in a cell together as Osborn storms the Sanctum and assaults Parker.
While Spider-identity Man was able to control the faulty spell, Strange claims that it drew in people from other realms who already knew his. They locate and apprehend Max Dillon and Flint Marko after he instructs Parker, MJ, and Ned to do so.
After separating himself from his Green Goblin persona, Osborn regains control of himself. He seeks solace from May at a F.E.A.S.T. headquarters before Parker arrives to collect him. When Osborn, Octavius, and Dillon recall their battles with Spider-Man, they discover that they were ripped from their present realities mere moments before they died.
Formalized paraphrase Strange intends to reverse the confined spell and return the villains to their separate realms, but Parker believes that they should first heal the villains’ abilities and insanity in order to prevent their deaths upon their return to their respective realms.
When Parker steals a spell, he places Strange in the Mirror Dimension and leads the villains to Hogan’s apartment with May’s assistance. When Octavius is healed by him, the Goblin persona of Osborn possesses him and persuades the remaining villains to turn against Parker.
Connors and Dillon flee, but the Goblin severely injures May. May tells Parker that “with tremendous power comes enormous responsibility” just before she dies.’
The slinging ring of Strange allows Ned to build portals, which he and MJ then use to search for Parker’s body. Instead, they find “Peter-Two” and “Peter-Three,” alternate versions of Parker from the villains’ realities who were also summoned by Strange’s spell.
“Peter-One” is the Parker of this universe, and he’s ready to surrender and send the bad guys packing when the party runs into him.
Their stories about losing loved ones inspire Peter-One to fight in May’s name, while the three Parkers continue their work on villain cures.
The gang entices Dillon, Marko, and Connors to the Statue of Liberty for some photo ops. While Peter-One and Peter-Two heal Connors and Marko and Ned uses a gateway to free Strange from the Mirror Dimension, Octavius arrives to help heal Dillon. The Goblin shows up and begins casting the confined magic, drawing in people from all over the multiverse to join in the fun. Peter-One is enraged and wants to kill the Goblin, while Strange tries to keep them at bay.
Peter-Two intervenes, and Peter-Three helps out. Osborn’s sanity is restored as a result of Peter-treatment. One’s He concludes that deleting himself from everyone’s memory is the only way of protecting the multiverse, and he asks Strange to do so, assuring MJ and Ned he will return.
Even Eddie Brock, who left behind a piece of his symbiote in this alternate reality, is transported back to his own.
Parker tries to reintroduce himself to MJ and Ned two weeks later, but he declines. While sobbing over May’s grave, he had a conversation with Hulk Hogan, who inspired him to resume his vigilantism and build a new costume.
