The Alita Battle Angel 2 Release Date Confirm or Cancel ! Check it now!

Richard Rodriguez’s cyberpunk action film “Alita: Battle Angel” has already established a devoted following in its first year of release.

Although the critics didn’t enjoy it, the audience was blown away by its outstanding visual style and effects. ‘Alita Battle Angel‘ is a cinematic delight, action-packed, and true to its manga roots.

This project has been in the works for a long time; it is a remake of a Yukito Kishiro manga series from the 1990s. ‘Alita’ was finally brought to life on the big screen after years of development. The public’s adoration was unstoppable.

Because of the way the film finishes, it’s reasonable to assume that the creators of the picture had a series in mind. However, the new Disney-Fox partnership has complicated matters.

Rosa Salazar ‘Alita’ wanted to do it all by herself!

The “Alita Army,” as the film’s fans are called, has stayed loyal in their desire to see more of the character. As of this writing, there are over 140380 signatures on a petition requesting a sequel to “Alita.” They’ve also gathered funds to run for an Academy Award nomination.

Fans have been using the hashtag #AlitaSequel on Twitter to show their support for a sequel. For the first time in December, the social media campaign made headlines. The film’s recent re-airing on HBO has reignited the debate. It remains to be seen whether Disney will pay attention.

The sequel is unavoidable due to the big fan base and the desire shown by the authors. This is where we’ve compiled all we know about the sequel.

When will Alita Battle Angel 2 be released?

We can’t predict when ‘Alita: Battle Angel 2’ will be published because the sequel hasn’t been given the green light yet. Given our knowledge of how lengthy projects like “Alita” may take, it’s reasonable to assume that the sequel will take some time.

That is, if Disney agrees to it at this stage. The studio has made no public pronouncements about the likelihood of a sequel, which is a good indication. If all goes well, Alita: Battle Angel 2 could be released in 2024 or later.

The plot of Alita Battle Angel 2

The manga series is focused on the dystopian future city of Iron City, where Alita, a cyborg with no memory, finds herself at the center of the action in “Alita: Battle Angel.” She is repaired by a cybernetics specialist once she is recovered.

The film then shifts its focus to her quest to recapture her past and her interactions with the people she meets along the way. In the process, she ends up becoming a bounty hunter.

The film is based on the first installment of a three-part manga saga that spans more than two decades. The original series is continued in Alita: The Last Order and Battle Angel Alita: Mars Chronicle.

So it’s self-evident, but there’s enough material for a sequel to ‘Alita: Battle Angel.’

There’s no way of knowing how the story will end without a sequel being announced. However, given the ending of ‘Alita’ and the rest of the source material, it’s not difficult to guess what will happen.

Alita expresses her resolve to avenge Hugo’s death by pointing towards Zalem near the end of the film. It implies that Alita’s journey to Zalem and her confrontation with Nova will be the subject of the sequel (s).

Alita Battle Angel 2 is a sequel to Alita Battle Angel.

Rosa Salazar would undoubtedly reprise her role as Alita, not only because she is the leading lady, but also because she adores the role. She remarked, ‘I’d play Alita till I died.’ Because of the usage of performance capture technology, this is achievable. “I would, and I believe I am capable of doing so.”

Dr. Dyson Ido, Alita’s surrogate father, has already said that he will return for a sequel. Christoph Waltz has officially stated that he will return for a sequel.

“I haven’t heard anything since then,” he stated in April 2020, “which is a little disappointing and shocking to me because I know it has followers.”

As far as I know, the public liked the project, and I’m pleased with the final result.

Also, Edward Norton, who played the mysterious Nova, should return after being teased at the close of the film. Rodriguez says that casting Nova was challenging because his appearance is “mainly for the setting of a sequel.”

Norton was finally recruited in the non-speaking role because the producers wanted to cast someone with whom they might collaborate on a potential Alita: Battle Angel 2 sequel.

Another character, Clive Lee, was originally supposed to appear, but he was cut from the screenplay. ‘I felt we should save him for a sequel,’ stated the director, implying that we would see them in the sequel, but without knowing who will play them.

We’re afraid it’ll take some time. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Disney will approve the sequel one step at a time. If you want to get your hands on a sequel, Landau thinks there’s just one way to accomplish it.
