She entered the adult film industry using a forged birth certificate to conceal the fact that she was two years younger than the minimum age of the majority. As a consequence of the FBI acting on an anonymous tip that Lords was a minor throughout her time in the industry and that pornographers were spreading and selling these illegal photos and videotapes, individuals responsible for creating and disseminating the recordings were prosecuted. Early Years
Nora Louise Kuzma was born on May 7, 1968, in Steubenville, Ohio. Using a phony ID, she entered the adult industry when she was just fifteen years old. When she turned 18, authorities learned she was underage and utilized her case to destroy the pornographic industry.

Career
In 1988, Lords made her debut in mainstream film with a starring part in Jim Wynorski’s “Not of This Earth.” She also signed a contract to model for ‘Muscle & Fitness magazine under her own name, Nora Kuzma. 1990’s musical comedy “Cry-Baby” was the film that brought her mainstream popularity.
