Truth Social Content Warning: How to Fix It!

Truth Social Content Warning: How to Fix It!

Truth Social is a social media platform developed by Trump Media & Technology Group, an American media, and technology business established in October 2021 by former U.S. President Donald Trump. Truth Social is also known as TRUTH Social. According to others, the platform competes with Parler and Gab in the alt-tech space.

The launch day for the service was February 21, 2022. Since its debut, the Truth Social platform has had serious scaling issues, which has resulted in a lower user base than anticipated.

The service was only available to users in the United States and Canada up until May 2022 and could only be accessed through an iPhone app. Although access is still restricted by geography, the service developed a web app in May 2022 that allows users of any internet browser to visit the site.

Truth Social has a straightforward user interface. To customize your experience with the website and app, you have a few easy options to choose from.

Go to the settings to turn off Content Warning. Expanding posts marked with a Content Warning is an option. By just switching to it, your choices will be preserved. You have a lot of other options for personalizing the website.

Sign up Or Log in On Truth Social

There are no discernible differences between the internet app and the mobile app’s login page. But if you’ve saved your login information in a browser like Chrome, you may now use it on the web app.

Once you’ve logged in using the web app, your password, username, or email address will be saved in the browser you’re now using, saving you from having to enter it again. The browser will automatically fill in your password.

A Rocky Start

I started my Truth Social adventure after selecting a user name and an avatar (I uploaded a photo of my Labrador). The software resembled a Twitter clone in appearance. There is the main news feed, a search function, a message feature, and a button to create a “Truth,” which is similar to a tweet, on Truth Social.

Several dozen accounts, including Fox News, The Epoch Times, and, of course, Mr. Trump himself, were quickly suggested followed by Truth Social. Only one Truth has been shared by the former president, and that was back in February and read, “Get Set! Soon, your favorite President will visit you. He currently has 1.88 million followers.

No fresh recommendations came after I followed all 80 accounts the program suggested, so I actively looked for accounts to follow. There were already a lot of accounts for well-known brands that had been compromised. The @nytimes profile read “The Failing NY Times,” and the @CNN profile read “CNN (Parody).” Only three posts had been made by another suspicious-looking account that purported to be ABC News.

The majority of the posts on my timeline were videos and news pieces. I came upon a Newsmax article about Washington outlawing the word “marijuana” and a video making fun of lefty Twitter staffers who were outraged about Elon Musk’s takeover. According to a study, diet and exercise alone won’t make you live longer.

The application was largely broken. It was impossible to conduct a keyword search for a Truth. When searching for “vaccine” and “Covid,” the message “No matching Truths” appeared.

Requests for comment were not answered by Trump Media and Technology Group, the business he formed to create Truth Social.
