Maria Menounos and Keven Undergaro’s love tale dates back a long time.
The TV anchor met her husband for the first time on the set of his independent film when she was 19 years old — but despite starting dating in April 1998, they didn’t marry until nearly two decades later.
They’ve been engaged, married, and are now expecting their first child together throughout the course of their 25-year relationship.

On February 7, a spokeswoman for the couple shared the happy news with PEOPLE exclusively.
“After a decade of trying everything, we are very grateful to the gorgeous family for assisting us in conceiving our kid,” the expecting mother told PEOPLE. “Keven, my father, and I are all very happy for this person to enter our lives. What a wonderful gift.”
Undergaro has spent his whole career in the entertainment industry, with a diverse portfolio spanning multiple modes of broadcast, including television and movies. He’s a writer, producer, and creator by trade, but he also shepherds and mentors hosts in all parts of their lives and careers.

Maria Menounos is married to Keven Undergaro, who is a writer, director, producer, and co-creator of AfterBuzz TV, a digital broadcast network that has created after-shows for over 500 films.
Surprisingly, Ingaro majored in history in college. However, after graduating, he changed his mind and opted to pursue a career in entertainment, beginning as a TV writer. He has since worked on films such as In the Land of Merry Misfits, Longtime Listener, and Guilty Movie Pleasures. He also has some acting experience, having played Nick in Lifetime’s 2021 feature The Holiday Fix-Up.

When Did the Couple Get Engaged?
Nearly 20 years after they began dating, Undergaro proposed on The Howard Stern Show in 2016 while promoting Menounos’s book, The Every Girl’s Guide to Cooking. “We knew we were married in our hearts,” he told Yahoo about why he waited so long to propose. We didn’t need any of it to cement it because we were Kurt and Goldie-ing it.”
Fast forward to the proposal, and Menounos was overjoyed to finally have a ring on her finger. “We had so many amazing experiences watching Howard Stern in that basement,” Undergaro remarked. It was a huge accomplishment for us to work together on that show.

When Did They Get Married?
The pair shared their special moment with the rest of the world by marrying on national television in Times Square during a live New Year’s Eve broadcast. “We ended up getting married on Fox NYE,” Menounos recounted. Our wedding was officiated by Steve Harvey. Everyone was invited, and everyone got to participate.”
In addition, the couple married in a Greek Orthodox Church in Akovos. “Everyone present made sure that the wedding was about love and us, and everyone made it the most special day for us,” Menounos added. There was no grumbling, complaining, or anything else. Everyone was just trying to make it special for us. It was out of this world.”

Do they have any children?
Menounos stated in February 2023 that she and Undergaro are expecting their first child via surrogate. The expecting mother released an exclusive video with People in which she and her father, Constantinos, admire the ultrasound. “Oh, my God,” remarked Menounos in the video. “That’s my baby, guys. “I adore you.”
