David Henrie, a former cast member of Wizards of Waverly Place, had a wonderful weekend! The actor and his wife, Maria Cahill Henrie, announced the birth of their third child, a baby girl, through Instagram.
The former Disney Channel star commented, “We are excited to welcome Gemma Clare Henrie into our family.” “A GIRL IT IS! At 3:21 a.m., Gemma Clare Henrie weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. Maria is currently taking the best siesta she has ever deserved.”
Then Henrie explained how Maria gave birth to their third child without using any painkillers. She adhered to her birth plan, and he remarked, “I couldn’t be more in awe of her!”
The actor went on by saying, “Leaning on my faith, “God is to be praised for giving us the greatest gift, and Maria and I are grateful for your prayers. I am grateful for all the messages I have received.”

Then, the Wizards of Waverly Place actor took a moment to thank the medical team who treated Maria, saying, “a heartfelt thank you to our midwife Katy, nurses Morgan, and Sofia! You guys are amazing, and we really appreciate all the nurses out there.”
Along with Gemma, David and Maria have a 3-year-old daughter named Pia Henrie and a 19-month-old son named James Henrie. They were married in 2017.
